Our group yoga classes are run like a happy family. There are no judgments, no competition, and we rejoice at everyone’s success, either in mastery of a pose or the healing from a surgery. We support and encourage one another even outside our classes. We are real people with real problems that come in all different shapes and sizes. We rejoice in being perfectly imperfect!
Most of our classes are in the Hatha/Vinyasa style, emphasizing the linking of the breath with the movement of the body. I believe that your breath is the bridge that bonds your body and your mind. This life-giving, healing breath harnessed well, can quiet your mind and bring flexibility to your body.
Begin today and let your personal transformation begin! All things are possible!

What is Yoga Coaching? A contemporary definition of Yoga coaching is difficult to pin down. Below you will find my two favorite definitions taken from the International Association of Yoga Therapists website.
“The use of the techniques of Yoga to create, stimulate, and maintain an optimum state of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.”–Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D.
Private coaching can be for a specific need whether that need is physical, stress or grief related, strength, flexibility or fluidity in the body or even if you feel you are stuck with recurring thoughts that make you sad or depressed.
As a Yoga Coach I have chosen not to narrow my focus on one particular illness. I have worked with many ailments. This includes everything from severe brain trauma, breast cancer recovery, post-traumatic stress syndrome and general muscular aches and pains. My coaching approach is to listen and help you heal in a non-invasive environment, where you can be yourself and get the help most important to you.
These private classes for individuals are available on an appointment basis. Please contact me via email at Simchah@breathoflifeyoga.org with any questions or to make an appointment.
